Terms of Use
Fair terms for responsible device care.
These terms describe the rules for using Mac Doctor, including permissions, subscriptions, diagnostic limitations, and ownership.
Effective August 23, 2026
1. Acceptance and eligibility
By downloading or using Mac Doctor, you agree to these terms and the applicable Apple Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. If you do not agree, do not use the app. You must be able to enter a binding agreement in your location or use the app with the permission of a parent, guardian, or authorized organization.
2. What Mac Doctor provides
Mac Doctor provides device information, diagnostic summaries, recommendations, reports, security status, approved remote requests, and related device-care tools. Availability and precision vary by device, operating-system version, hardware, connectivity, and the permissions Apple makes available.
Mac Doctor is not Apple, an Apple-authorized service provider, a data recovery guarantee, or a substitute for qualified repair, security, legal, or emergency services.
3. Your responsibilities
You are responsible for maintaining backups, reviewing recommendations before acting, protecting your credentials, and using Mac Doctor only on devices and accounts you own or are authorized to manage. You may not use the app to access another person’s device without permission, bypass Apple security controls, distribute malware, or violate law.
4. Permissions and remote features
Features requiring sensitive access remain subject to Apple’s permission, authentication, device-trust, and visibility controls. Choosing Always Allow authorizes only the categories described in the app; it does not authorize hidden access or override Apple controls. You can revoke supported permissions at any time.
5. Purchases and subscriptions
If paid plans are offered, purchases are processed through Apple and are subject to the price, renewal period, trial terms, taxes, and cancellation options shown before purchase. Apple manages payment, renewal, refunds, and subscription cancellation under its policies. Core safety findings, privacy controls, and access to your current local data will not be withheld solely because you do not subscribe.
6. Pre-release software and availability
TestFlight and other preview builds may be incomplete, change without notice, contain errors, or be unavailable. Do not rely on a preview build as the only copy of important information. Features may change to improve safety, reliability, legal compliance, or compatibility.
7. Ownership and feedback
Mac Doctor, Little Bear, its software, interface, artwork, and related materials are owned by their respective rights holder and protected by applicable law. These terms grant a limited, personal, non-transferable right to use the app. You retain ownership of your data. You may provide feedback, and Mac Doctor may use it to improve the product without identifying you publicly.
8. Disclaimers and limitation
To the extent permitted by law, Mac Doctor is provided “as is” and “as available.” Diagnostic results and recommendations may be limited by unavailable, delayed, or inaccurate source information. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded in your jurisdiction.
9. Changes and contact
These terms may be updated as the product changes. Continued use after an effective update constitutes acceptance where permitted by law. Questions may be sent to support@macdoctor.app.
